Eight year old Gracie Vandenberg is one happy camper, after Mix 102.3 made her dream a reality.
Today on Max & Ali in the Morning, Gracie was told she’d be attending the Taylor Swift concert live in Melbourne.
Gracie had a challenging first seven years of her life due to a hearing impairment.
After significant programming adjustments to her cochlear devices, Gracie finally started to hear.
Gracie’s mum Jenni revealed “The first song she ever heard at seven years of age was Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do!,’ and I’ll never forget her dancing her little heart out with a grin from ear to ear.”
Mix102.3’s Max Burford and Ali Clarke were so moved by Gracie’s story, they made it their mission to get her tickets to Swift’s Australian ‘Eras Tour.’
This morning, as part of ‘Max and Ali to the Rescue,’ Max and Ali welcomed Gracie and Jenni on the show and revealed that the mother-daughter duo would be travelling to Melbourne to see Taylor Swift live at the end of the week.
