Mike Found On Cape Girardeau's River

Max Media Classic Hits “93.9 The River” KGKS Scott City/Cape Girardeau MO has come out of Christmas music with a new format and identity.

KGKS flipped at midnight Sunday morning to Variety Hits “93.9 Mike-FM“. The station retains its current airstaff of Glen Johnson, Darren Burgfield, Rachel Cook, and Bryan Young with the switch. KGKS will launch with 9300 minutes commercial-free for its first week through Sunday, January 2.

Positioning as “You Like It, We Play It”, the new format debuted with John Mellencamp “Jack & Diane”, Aerosmith “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”, and Pat Benatar “Treat Me Right”.
