iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL Anoka/Minneapolis has announced Mike Dubs will take over its morning show fro 6-9am.
Dubs moves over from sister Country “K102” KEEY. He will continue to host weekend and fill-in shifts at KEEY. He previously hosted nights and briefly mornings at Audacy Country “102.9 The Wolf” KMNB from 2015 to 2020 and previously hosted weekends at “US 99.5” WUSN Chicago.
Dubs fills the morning opening created by Jeff Olsen’s departure to join 740 WDGY Hudson WI in March.
iHeartMedia Minneapolis’s KOOL 108 (KQQL – FM), Minnesota’s Best Variety of the 80s and 90s, announced today that Mike Dubs has been named the new on-air host of KOOL 108’s Morning Drive to Work, effective immediately. KOOL 108 Morning Drive to Work broadcasts weekdays from 6am-9am.
The KOOL 108 Morning Drive to Work show will feature Dubs signature upbeat style, sharing personal stories and what’s happening in and around Minnesota. Dubs plays the greatest music of all time and keeps Minnesota up to date with the latest in entertainment, food, sports, and local news.

A well-known radio personality in the Minneapolis market, Dubs joins KOOL 108 from sister station K102, where you can still hear him every weekend and filling in on other weekday shows. Prior to iHeartMedia, he served as the Night Show Host and Social Media Director for KMNB in Minneapolis. Dubs began his career at WUSN-FM in Chicago and is a graduate of Purdue University-Calumet.
