Midwest Shuffles AM Programming In Duluth

Midwest Communications has realigned the programming at its AMs in Duluth MN/Superior WI.

As first reported by Northpine, Conservative Talk 710 WDSM/98.1 W251CD Superior has flipped to Sports as “710 The Game” dropping all on-air references to its FM translator. WDSM is running the programming originating from iHeartMedia’s “97.3 The Game” WRNW-FM Milwaukee from 6am-6pm weekdays and CBS Sports Radio in other timeslots. The programming now heard on WDSM had been on Midwest’s 970 WDUL Superior, which continues running it for now.

The local talk hosts that had been on WDSM have moved to Midwest News/Talk 610 KDAL/103.9 W280FB Duluth. Former 7-8am host Neill Atkins will now co-host the 8am hour of Dave Strandberg’s 6-10am morning show. “Sound-Off with Brad Bennett” has moved from 8-11am on WDSM to 11am-2pm on KDAL. With the changes, the syndicated shows hosted by Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Ben Shapiro, and Hugh Hewitt lose their Duluth clearances. Markley, Van Camp & Robbins, which had been heard on WDSM from 11am to 2pm weekdays had a dual clearance on KDAL from 2-4pm which will continue.
