Midday Changes At 102.5 The Game Nashville

Cromwell Media Sports “102.5/106.3 The Game” WPRT-FM Pegram/106.3 W292ED Franklin TN has made a change to its midday show as Derrick Mason returns to the station while Darren McFarland departs after eleven years.

The 10am to 2pm show has been rebranded as “Chase, Willy & D-Mase” as Mason joins Program Director Chase McCabe and Willy Daunic. Mason, who spent fifteen years in the NFL mostly with the Tennessee Titans as a Wide Receiver, originally joined WPRT-FM in 2015 as midday co-host before moving to mornings until exiting in February 2020.

McFarland has worked in Nashville Sports radio since 2003, originally co-hosting afternoons at “104.5 The Zone” WGFX from 2003 to 2009. After ten months at 560 WNSR, he joined WPRT-FM upon its flip to Sports in 2011 originally hosting mornings and was the last remaining member of the station’s launch lineup. Since 2013 McFarland also hosted pre, post, and intermission coverage for the NHL’s Nashville Predators network based at WPRT-FM. McFarland told the Tennessean, “When you have been in the radio business for 25 years, I guess you are never surprised by anything. I’m just thankful for the 11 years I spent on the air at 102.5 The Game.”
