Veteran Chicago programmer and on-air personality Rick O’Dell will retire from his role as Program Director of Weigel Broadcasting’s “MeTVFM” network on Wednesday, October 4.

He would rise to Program Director for the station in 2007. O’Dell would be involved in multiple streaming projects and programmed Smooth Jazz on 87.7 WLFM-LP from later in 2009 until 2012. He also served as an adjunct professor in the School of Media Arts at Columbia College Chicago and programs AccuRadio’s Smooth Jazz channels.
