Matt Derrick Joins Dick Broadcasting Savannah As Operations Manager

Dick Broadcasting has appointed Matt Derrick as Operations Manager for their Savannah GA/Hilton Head Island SC cluster.

Derrick most recently held the same position for Summit Media Omaha until departing last summer. He has held programming positions for Townsquare Media Boise, NRG Media Omaha, iHeartMedia Norfolk, WQLK Lake Charles LA, WKZY Gainesville FL, was APD at KHTT Tulsa and mixer/host at KNGY San Francisco.

Derrick succeeds Gabe Reynolds, who departed to join the AAA “Sun Radio” regional network based in Austin as Director of Programming in October. He will oversee CHR “Hot 98.3” WGCO, Classic Hip Hop “G100.1” WXYY, Rock “Rock 106.1” WFXH, Country “Bob 106.9” WUBB, Classic Hits “Rewind 107.9” WRWN and Regional Mexican “La Pantera 96.1” 1130 WHHW.

Derrick recently served as OM for SummitMedia in Omaha. He’ll oversee the programming department on DBC Savannah’s five stations including CHR WGCO, Country WUBB, Rhythmic AC WXYY, Active Rock WFXH, Classic Hits WRWN and Hispanic WHHW.
