Marvin Humes joins Bauer to host daily shows on KISS and KISSTORY

Bauer has snapped up Marvin Humes to host two daily radio shows – one on KISS and one on KISSTORY whilst Alex Scott gets weekends.

The Hit List host and JLS star will become the new host of weekday mid-mornings on KISS from 11am-1pm each weekday, and then 1pm till 3pm on digital sister station KISSTORY.

Each day Marvin, who left his Capital late show in 2022, will start his show at 11am with an hour of KISSTORY old skool and anthems, and spend the whole show each Friday with the classics.

Marvin said: “I am buzzing to become a part of the KISS family and cannot wait to be back on the radio sharing music that I love with listeners.

“It’s such a brilliant way to connect with people and to able to do that on a station I’ve always loved and listened to – it’s an honour!’

Before joining Bauer, Marvin worked for Global since 2013 but was replaced in 2022 when Sonny Jay took over the late show. Capital said Marvin had a new opportunity in 2023.

The new shows start from Monday April 22nd 2024.

In addition, Alex Scott is joining the KISS schedule with a two hour Super KISSTORY show each Sunday from 7pm till 9pm, starting on April 28th.

Alex Scott said: ‘Everyone knows that I love football, but music is just as much as part of who I am, and I’m thrilled to be back with my KISS team and digging into my collection to share more Old Skool and anthems every Sunday.

“I’m hoping to carry on those weekend vibes all the way into Sunday night and setting everyone up for the new week.’

KISS Content Director, Rebecca Frank said: “Not only are Alex and Marvin phenomenal broadcasters, but they also carry a deep passion for the music and bring the vibes and energy that the KISS brand is all about. Get involved!”
