Martin Kelner has been hired by Radio News Hub to anchor its coverage of the King Charles III coronation.
Taking place on Saturday 6 May 2023, the company will offer a free streaming service of the event to radio stations across the world.
Martin Kelner, who has 40 years of radio broadcast experience to his name, mostly for the BBC, will front a programme from Radio News Hub’s London studios – with other Radio News Hub reporters situated across the country to capture and report on the UK’s reaction.
Speaking of the appointment, Martin said: “I’m really excited to be part of Radio News Hub’s coverage of the King’s Coronation and work with its fantastic team of reporters to capture the essence of the day.
“These are the times that broadcasters are proud and honoured to be a part of – to report on an event that some of us have never seen before and others may not see again.”
Last month, Radio News Hub announced the appointment of David Prever as Head of Programming as part of its move to develop and enhance its content and programme propositions to stations not only in the UK, but across Europe, Australia, and Asia.
For more information about how to receive the free programme stream, contact Jamie Fletcher or Stephanie Otty at Radio News Hub.
