Cox Media Group Tulsa VP/Market Manager Mark Shecterle is relocating to San Antonio in the same role.
Shecterle fills the opening in San Antonio created by David Abel’s transfer to Atlanta last month. He has been with Cox Tulsa since April 2023.

Shecterle began his career in 1988 at 104.1 KRBE Houston where he rose through the ranks with time as Promotions Director and Marketing Director until becoming General Manager from 2000 to 2006. He then served as Director of Sales for Westwood One and then Total Traffic & Weather, and Radio One Houston before a stint at United States Traffic Network. He joined NRG Media Omaha in December 2018 as Market Manager and remained there until his move to Tulsa.
He commented, “I’m fortunate that I have the opportunity to move from one highly talented CMG team to an equally impressive CMG team in a very important market. I want to build on CMG Radio’s legacy in San Antonio and further enhance the impact the team is having there.”
