Mark Kaye Show Exits WOKV & Other Cox Talkers

The Mark Kaye Show has come to an end at Cox Media Group News/Talk 104.5 WOKV-FM Atlantic Beach/Jacksonville FL.

The daily Conservative Talk show began as an hour-long show on WOKV in 2017, expanded to two hours in January 2019, and then moved into the 12-3pm timeslot following the death of Rush Limbaugh in early 2021. The show had also been syndicated to other Cox Media Group stations including middays on 1290 WHIO/95.7 WHIO-FM Dayton and 740 KRMG/102.3 KRMG-FM Tulsa, nights on 580/107.3 WDBO Orlando and late-nights on 750 WSB/95.5 WSBB Atlanta, He also hosts a weekly show on Newsmax TV.

Barrett News Media shares a memo from Cox Media Group VP/Market Manager Jimmy Farrell stating, “Earlier today we let Mark Kaye know that we’re no longer continuing with The Mark Kaye Show. The show’s last airing was today. Moving forward, we’re excited to transition to The Erick Erickson Show weekdays from 12 – 3 PM.”

Prior to launching the show in 2017, Kaye hosted mornings on Cox CHR 95.1 WAPE Jacksonville from 2007 until 2021. He has also hosted mornings at “Hot 99.5” WIHT Washington DC and “B98.5” WBBO Ocean Acres NJ.
