After just four months as Program Director of MacDonald Broadcasting Hip Hop “Power 96.5” WQHH DeWitt/Lansing MI, Mario Jackson has moved to Sun Broadcasting’s “Fly 98.5” WFFY Fort Myers FL as APD/afternoon host.
Jackson was promoted to PD of WQHH in March after previously hosting nights since August 2020. He previously had a previous stint as overnight host at WQHH from 2013-16. Jackson has also served as a Newscast Director for WLNS-TV and On-Site Coordinator for Townsquare Media Lansing.
He succeeds Alvin ‘DJ A-Rich’ Richardson, who departed WFYY earlier this summer to return home to Denver.
Fly 98-5, is pleased to welcome Mario Jackson as the new Assistant Program Director and afternoon drive personality. Jackson joins Sun Broadcasting’s Fly 98-5 from WQHH Lansing, MI, where he was Program Director/On-Air.

Jackson was a 2023 All Access Radio’s Got Talent award winner. He is a native Michigander and a graduate of the Specs Howard School of Media Arts.
