Longtime Houston personality Benjamin ‘Madd Hatta’ Thompson is returning to Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.1” KMJQ Houston as afternoon host.
Madd Hatta most recently was Operations Manager and Content Director for Texas State University’s 90.9 KTSU Houston. He hosted mornings at Radio One Hip Hop “97.9 The Box” KBXX from 2001 to 2020 after previously serving as APD/MD and night host at KMJQ from 1993 to 2001. He also continued to host a Friday Night mixshow on KMJQ during much of his tenure at KBXX and is the owner of record label Paid in Full Entertainment where he released six albums along with music from artists including Chamillionaire and Paul Wall.
The return of Madd Hatta to the cluster follows the exit last week of ‘Funky’ Larry Jones and Ali Siddiq. He will be heard from 2-7pm starting Monday, February 12.
