SOUND MANAGEMENT announces that Lori Bennett, well- known Program Director and on-air personality in the Grand Rapids and Detroit MI markets has joined heritage CHR station, WNDV U-93 (92.9) in South Bend, IN.

Bennett joins WNDV from Cumulus Media West Michigan, where she was Operations and Marketing Manager for Grand Rapids and Muskegon markets as well as Program Director for Grand Rapids. A Michigan native, Bennett’s lengthy resume also includes dominant Detroit stations such as WDVD- FM, WJR-AM, WMGC-FM, and WNIC-FM.

Arthur Angotti III, President of Sound Management said “We are lucky to announce the addition of Lori Bennett to the South Bend Community and to the U-93 Broadcast team! Lori comes to the market with an abundance of experience and enthusiasm that will help our stations serve the listeners of South Bend and the surrounding areas. We are excited to get her into the market and on the air and look forward to integrating her into our broadcast team and into the community”.

General Manager of U-93, Pam Mason adds: “We are thrilled to welcome Lori to our team. With her exceptional leadership qualities and extensive background in the radio industry, we are confident that she will play a pivotal role in propelling our stations forward and leading us to new heights of success.”

“It is an absolute honor to be asked to take the proverbial reins of a legendary CHR station like U-93!” said Bennett. “With the station heading into its 45th anniversary of entertaining and serving the Michiana community, plus it’s rich history of incredible on-air talent, I could not be more excited to join Arthur and Pam’s team. While it’s not a stretch for me with my family background especially in the glow of the Notre Dame dome to reclaim myself as a true member of the ‘Fighting Irish’; I am relying on my new colleagues to help me properly pronounce ‘Hoosiers’ without giving away my borderline Canadian accent.”
