Lite RADIO launches training hub to help broadcasters and volunteers

Lite RADIO has launched a new training hub supplied by learning broadcast company SEEDL.

It’s designed to offer value back to its members for training, while also demonstrating compliance and investment in people to potential grant providers and regulators.

The Lite RADIO Training Hub offers a variety of courses and training materials for volunteers to take advantage of.

It covers topics including sales, communication, project management, and compliance, ensuring that volunteers are equipped with the necessary skills to contribute to the station and their personal development.

“We’re thrilled to launch our new training hub,” said Matt Cadman, Director at Lite RADIO. “We believe that investing in our people is crucial for our success as a growing radio station, and we’re excited to be able to offer this valuable resource to our crew and volunteers to help develop key skills, alongside gaining broadcasting experience.

“Lite RADIO is committed to providing a high-quality experience, and the new training hub is just one of the many ways the station is investing in its people. By offering comprehensive training and support, the station aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for people to thrive.”

Lite RADIO broadcasts on DAB with a mix of easy listening music from the 60s through to today.
