Lisa Polizzi Joins WBEN As Brand Manager

Audacy has announced the appointment of Lisa Polizzi as Brand Manager of News/Talk 930 WBEN Buffalo.

Polizzi has spent most her career in Buffalo with time as a news producer at WKBW-TV from 2002-06 before returning as Executive Producer and Assistant News Director in 2010 and then rising to News Director in 2014. She would jump to WIVB-TV the following year until 2022, while also serving as Director At Large for the RTDNA. She has spent the past year and a half in PR/marketing. She has spent time at the Audacy Buffalo cluster as a weekend news anchor at WBEN in 2002 and Sports 550 WGR in 1999.

Audacy has named Lisa Polizzi as Brand Manager of WBEN (WBEN-AM) in Buffalo. In this role, Polizzi will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations, and branding.

Polizzi has 22 years of experience in broadcasting, including deep roots in local Buffalo media. She previously served as a longtime News Director at WIVB-TV, where she helped lead the station to No. 1 in ratings. Polizzi also anchored weekends at WBEN in 2002 and Audacy Buffalo sister station WGR-AM in 1999.
