Lern Returns To KSHE As Favazz Moves To Afternoons

Lern KSHE 95 94.7 St. LouisFollowing the layoff of afternoon host Josh Innes last week, Hubbard Classic Rock “KSHE 95” 94.7 KSHE Crestwood/St. Louis is revamping its on-air lineup.

Lauren ‘Lern’ Elwell will return to middays from 10am to 2pm, while continuing to co-host “The Rizutto Show” in mornings on sister Alternative “105.7 The Point” KPNT. She originally joined KSHE as Promotions Coordinator and weekend host in 2008 before moving to the dual role of morning co-host and midday host in 2012 and then moved to afternoons from January 2020 to her move to KPNT in Aprl 2023. She had also continued hosting he has hosted afternoons since January 2020. She continued to host the weekly “Monday Night Metal” on KSHE but will now pass the torch on that show to Todd Morgan.

With Lern’s move to middays, Guy ‘Favazz’ Favazza will slide back to the afternoon slot he possessed from 1999 until January 2020. Favazz first joined KSHE in 1991 and has also spent time as morning co-host.

She shared, “I am so excited to be on air at KSHE 95 AND 105.7 The Point. This is honestly ‘Peak Radio Goals’ for me in my career in St. Louis. I am so honored, honestly. KSHE always will feel like ‘home’ to me, and the amount of fun and growth that’s happened with The Rizzuto Show this last year and half has been beyond my wildest expectations! Im thankful to be part of both! Thanks for the support of both of my stations and just know: “you never work a day in your life if you love what you do…” and in this instance, that’s the damn truth!”

The new lineup will take effect on Monday, August 12.
