Leon Williamson Moves To iHeartMedia Indianapolis As Director Of Sales

iHeartMedia iHeart iHeartCommunicationsiHeartMedia has announced that Miami Senior Account Executive Leon Williamson will relocate to Indianapolis as Director of Sales.

Williamson joined iHeartMedia Miami in March 2021. He previously served as Senior Account Manager for Cox Media Group Miami from 2006 to 2012 and Local Sales Manager & Digital Sales Manager for Radio One St. Louis from 2012 to 2016.

iHeartMedia announced today that Leon Williamson has been named Vice President of Sales for Indianapolis, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Indianapolis has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises – both broadcast and digital – encompassing five stations comprised of Classic Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop and R&B, Sports and Business News.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Vice President of Sales, Williamson will work closely with the local sales team, with a goal of meeting and exceeding station revenue and prospecting new business targets. He will report to Kristy Beebe, Market President for Indianapolis.

Williamson has nearly 12 years of broadcast marketing experience and joins the Indianapolis market from the iHeartMedia Miami cluster. Throughout his career he has held various leadership positions, including Local Sales and Digital Sales Manager for Urban One St. Louis. He began his career at Cox Media Group in Miami, Florida, and he is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University.
