Len Berman and Michael Riedel Exit Mornings At WOR

Len Berman Michael Riedel 710 WOR New YorkThe ongoing iHeartMedia layoffs have brought the end of the Len Berman and Michael Riedel morning show at Conservative Talk 710 WOR New York.

Berman had joined WOR in January 2015 first paired with Todd Schnitt. Best known for his decades-long run as lead sportscaster at WNBC-TV, Berman also hosted NBC’s NFL pregame show in the early 1980s and his “Spanning The World” segment of Sports highlights and bloopers aired on the Today Show from 1989 until 2016. He also had a very brief run in 1993 co-hosting middays on Sports 660 WFAN.

Riedel joined Berman in February 2018. He previously spent over two decades as a theater columnist for the New York Post, co-hosted “Theater Talk” on PBS from 1992-2017, and hosted a weekly show for Salem Media Conservative Talk “970 The Answer” WNYM. Riedel was also a frequent guest on Imus In The Morning and WOR’s Mark Simone Show.

Some other support staff members have also exited along with some promotions staffers at iHeart New York.
