Cox Media Group Country “93Q” KKBQ Pasadena/Houston TX has announced the addition of Lauren ‘Lo’ Sessions As APD/MD/afternoon host.
Sessions joins KKBQ after spending the past year in San Antonio first as APD/MD at CHR “Energy 94.1” KTFM and then Marketing Director after its flip to Sports in June. She previously worked at Alpha CHR “Live 95.5” KBFF and Hip Hop “We 96.3” KWEE Portland, hosted middays at West Virginia Radio CHR 101.9 WVAQ Morgantown WV and started her career in Tampa working on the RatBoy & StayPuff Show and later weekends at CHR 93.3 WFLZ.
Sessions fills the opening created by the departure of Caitlin ‘CJ’ Johnson in September.
Cox Media Group (“CMG”) Houston today announced Lauren “Lo” Sessions has been named the new Afternoon Drive Host and Assistant Program Director/Music Director.
Sessions joins 93Q with a dynamic background in major market experience across multiple formats. She started her radio career at iHeart Media Tampa Bay on WFLZ and later spent time with West Virginia Radio Corporation’s 102 WVAQ. Most recently, she served as the Marketing Director in San Antonio for Alpha Media USA.Sessions was recently chosen as one of four mentees for the MIW Mildred Carter Mentoring Program’s Class of 2022.
