Latino Media Network Implements Regional Leadership Structure

Latino Media Network TelevisaUnivisionLatino Media Network is regionalizing its leadership structure with the appointment of three Regional General Managers to oversee the company’s stations.

Vicky Guerrero, who had been overseeing the company’s Rio Grande Valley stations since the company’s formation and previously led the cluster for Univision since 1998, will oversee all Texas markets adding oversight of Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

Mauricio Palacios, who had been General Manager in Las Vegas, adds the company’s stations in Fresno and Los Angeles. Palacios joined LMN from Univision Las Vegas where he spent sixteen years in various sales leadership positions. In Fresno and Los Angeles, he takes over from Javier Ortiz, who departed the company last October.

Miami GM Mike Sena will now also oversee Chicago. Sena spent 21 years at Univision Miami prior to the formation of Latino Media Network.

The company says these leaders will report to Raysa Rodriguez-Leon for commercial sales and Ken Wilkey for operating matters “to ensure alignment with LMN’s broader goals and reinforcing LMN’s focus on empowering regional teams while fostering cross-departmental synergies to amplify our reach and community impact”.

Interim CEO Marc Manahan commented, “This realignment reflects LMN’s unwavering commitment to growth and our mission to fill a much-needed gap in the market for the U.S. Hispanic community. Our stations are critical touchpoints for information, particularly in addressing the community’s concerns in moments of crisis or natural disasters, such as those we recently experienced in Los Angeles. By focusing on three regions, we are able to have additional sales and promotional efforts for our stations, which better positions us to amplify our impact in the local market and the communities we serve.”
