Last Nite On Loop In South Jersey

Rick Brancadora’s 1020 WWAC Ocean City-Somers Point NJ and translators 101.3 W267BP Pleasantville/Atlantic City and 101.9 W270CV Palermo have dropped their Oldies “Wibbage Gold” format and are currently stunting with a loop of Morgan Wallen’s “Last Nite”.

Interspersed in between songs are sound effects of a cat running away, a nod to Townsquare Media’s “Cat Country 107.3” WPUR. If that wasn’t a sign that the station would soon be going Country, the station’s streaming player features the attached logo coining the station as “Hot Country 101“.

Until recently WWAC featured a split format. The station simulcast Spanish CHR “Mega 105.7” 1310 WEMG Camden/Philadelphia on weekdays and aired the Oldies format on weekends along with some Conservative Talk shows. The Spanish programming moved to 93.9 W230AA Atlantic City/WENJ-HD2 earlier this month.
