iHeartMedia CHR “Y100” WHYI Fort Lauderdale/Miami FL has named Larry ‘Yako’ Calderon as Program Director.
Calderon has served as Brand Coordinator for iHeart’s Spanish CHR stations and APD/MD for sister Spanish CHR “Tú 94.9” WZTU since 2015. He fills the opening created by Taylor Jukes’ move to SVP/Programming in San Diego in February. Calderon has also held on-air roles at WSKQ and WXNY New York, WHKQ and WNUE Orlando, and a nationally syndicated Spanish night show.
