Landry Locker departed as midday co-host at Audacy’s “Sports Radio 610” KILT Houston following his show today.
Locker has co-hosted “In The Loop” with John Lopez since May 2018 after originally joining the station in December 2016 as morning show producer. He also spent a few months as morning show producer for “92.3 The Fan” WKRK-FM Cleveland and six years at “103.3 ESPN Dallas” KESN Dallas in multiple roles including producer, reporter, writer, host and Assistant Program Director.
Locker will be focusing on his “The Locker Room” YouTube channel emphasizing the NFL’s Houston Texans. He told the Houston Chronicle, “I love sports radio. I’m proud that we always informed and entertained while being honest with the audience. Grateful to everyone in that building, grateful to the Texans for allowing us to be critical and excited about the evolution of the business. VERY thankful to my current bosses for allowing me to grow my stream and spread my wings.”
Lopez and producer Edward ‘Figgy Fig’ Gilliard remain in the midday slot.
Today was my last show at SportsRadio 610. I’ll be focusing on The Locker Room stream on YouTube and trying to evolve with the game.
