WVRC Media has flipped 95.7 WSWW-FM Craigsville WV from a simulcast of News/Talk 560 WJLS/104.1 W281AJ Beckley to Country “Lake Country 95.7 3WS“.
Mike Vincent, PD/afternoon host at sister 97.9 WKKW Morgantown, will hold the same duties at WSWW-FM. Local staffer Felicity Lynn will host middays. The new format creates a local competitor to Summit Media’s “Boss 97” 97.1 WDBS-FM Sutton.
WVRC Media (then known as West Virginia Radio Corporation) sold WSWW-FM to semi-related AJG Corporation in 2017, but has continued to operate the station via Time Brokerage Agreement.
