Sierra H Broadcasting Rhythmic Oldies “Mega 104.3” KAJM Camp Verde/Phoenix AZ is resetting its on-air lineup starting Wednesday, October 5 with the addition of veteran Phoenix personality Lady La as afternoon host.
Lady La has been a staple in the Phoenix market with previous stints in mornings at CHR “Live 101.5” KZON, evenings at Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP, and most recently in afternoons at CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM” KZZP until being part of iHeartMedia’s nationwide cuts at the end of 2020. She also owns a shave ice store “Mahalo Made” in downtown Phoenix.
With her addition to the station lineup, James ‘The Manic Hispanic’ Rivas will move from afternoons to mornings filling the slot vacated earlier this year by former NBA player Cedric Ceballos. Rivas, who also hosts mornings at Bustos Media Rhythmic AC “106.3 The Groove” KTGV Oracle/Tucson, has spent his entire career bouncing between Phoenix and Tucson with stints at CHR “93.7 KRQ” KRQQ as night host in 1989 and then was part of Jimmy Kimmel’s morning show in the early 90s and PD/morning host at “Hot 98.3” KOHT in Tucson and later worked at “Power 92” KKFR Phoenix before joining KAJM in the mid 2000s.
