‘Lady Jade’ Burrowes has exited Service Broadcasting Hip Hop “K104” KKDA-FM Dallas and Compass Media Networks’ “DeDe In The Morning“.
Burrowes has spent her entire 19 year career at KKDA-FM and was part of mornings shows hosted by Skip Murphy and Skip Cheatham prior to DeDe McGuire’s arrival in 2010. She announced her exit on Instagram writing, “Monday, August 22, 2022 I resigned from K104fm, and the morning show. Having to walk away after 19 years of blood, sweat, and tears was the most difficult decision i’ve ever had to make in my life and I will explain soon…”
After the station posted a video clip of the morning show announcing her departure on-air, she tweeted, “I have politely asked for this post to be removed because the narrative that has been translated in this post is false. My request has unfortunately been ignored.”
Burrowes also is the founder and president of the non-profit Project 16 DFW.
