Bonneville News/Talk 92.3 KTAR-FM Glendale/Phoenix AZ has announced that LaDona Harvey will join the station as co-anchor of “Arizona’s Morning News” alongside Jim Sharpe.
Harvey most recently anchored mornings at iHeartMedia’s 600 KOGO San Diego for a decade until stepping down in September. She had been with KOGO since 1998 serving as a news anchor until 2010 before hosting middays and then afternoons until moving to mornings in 2014.
She commented, “I am thrilled to be back home in Arizona, joining the finest news team in the Valley at KTAR. I have the privilege of continuing to care for my ailing father and doing a job I am passionate about: telling Phoenix listeners the stories that affect their lives, and livelihoods.”
Bonneville Phoenix SVP/Market Manager Ryan Hatch said, “We are excited to welcome LaDona to the talented Arizona’s Morning News team. She is a natural storyteller with an infectious personality and a passion for connecting with the community.”
Harvey succeeds Jayme West, who recently retired.
