Brent Farris will retire on Friday, September 22 from his roles as Program Director and morning host at Amaturo Sonoma Media AC 100.1 KZST Santa Rosa CA.
Farris has been with KZST for 38 years and has been teamed with Debbie Abrams in mornings for 27 years.
The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports that Amaturo Sonoma Media Group President Michael O’Shea offered to let Farris work from home, part-time or a later shift with a raise stating, “Brent is a great morning air personality, but he’s even better as a station programmer.”
Abrams will continue on in mornings at KZST.
