KTCK Launches Two New Midday Shows

Cumulus Media Sports “The Ticket” 1310 KTCK Dallas/96.7 KTCK-FM Flower Mound TX has launched two new midday shows to fill the openings created by the retirement of Norm Hitzges in June and resignations of Dan McDowell & Jake Kemp earlier this month.

McClearin had been hosting middays at Cumulus’ “Jox 94.5” WJOX-FM Birmingham after previous multiple stints in Dallas including hosting weekends at KTCK from 2009-13 and weekends and middays at “ESPN 103.3” KESN from 2016 to 2020. Producers Sean Bass and David Mino will move up to hosting roles from 1-3pm. Bass previously produced Hitges & Lewis’ show, while Mino produced “The Hardline” in afternoons. Bass has been with KTCK since 2001 in multiple roles including update anchor and fill-in/weekend host. Mino interned at the station in 2011 and returned in 2012 rising through promotions, board operator, and producer roles during his tenure.
