KSFM Cuts Ties With On-Air Staff

102.5 KSFM Sacramento Tony TecateA change of sorts is appearing imminent at Audacy Hip Hop 102.5 KSFM Woodland/Sacramento CA as both members of its on-air staff have departed the station.

APD/MD RJ ‘DJ Squintz” Buendia wrote on Instagram, “I just lost my job. I’m no longer with Audacy, KSFM or 102 Jams. Simply put – that’s radio. So much that can be said, especially anyone that knows what I’ve done over the past 10 months. Just goes to show it doesn’t matter how many hats you wear and what you do. Not like I haven’t known that, but I did get reminded.” Buendia, who also hosted 3-10pm on KSFM and held APD duties for Classic Hip Hop “102 Jams” KRBQ San Francisco, joined KSFM in 2016 after spending eight years at Cumulus Media’s 97.7 KWIN Lodi/Stockton and 98.3 KWNN Turlock/Modesto and rose to Music Director in January 2021 and Assistant Brand Manager last August.

Morning host ‘Mia Amor’ Sanchez posted on the station’s Instagram story that today was her final day on the station. She has not commented personally or whether she will continue in middays at KRBQ. Amor joined KSFM in May 2018 after a previous four year stint in mornings at KRBQ. She has also worked at “Hot 97.5” KVEG Las Vegas.

KSFM announced the addition of Ben ‘DJ Complex’ Romero as its new Brand Manager in April. The station dropped from a 3.4 to 2.9 share in the just released May 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings.
