Following the closing of its sale to John Paul’s Washington Interstate Broadcasting Company, CHR “Hits 94.3” KRKZ-FM Chinook WA/Astoria OR has flipped to Classic Hits.
Now branding as just “94.3 KRKZ“, the station’s lineup features John Paul in mornings, former owner Steph Meadows in middays, and northwest radio veterans Porkchop and ‘Commander Scott’ Lander rounding out the schedule.
Washington Interstate Broadcasting Company agreed to acquire KRKZ-FM in May for $250,000 from Meadows Broadcasting. Paul’s company also owns “Classic Hits 100.7” 1490 KLOG/K264CU Kelso, “Cookin Country 105.5” KUKN Longview WA and Rock “101.5 The Blitz” K268BN/KUKN-HD2.
