KQNK To Debut Superstar Country

Superstar Country 1530 102.5 KQNK NortonDierking Communications will launch “Superstar Country” on 1530 KQNK/102.5 K273DE Norton KS next week.

KQNK currently simulcasts co-owned Classic Hits “Q106.7” KQNK-FM and will flip to a mix of current and Classic Country listing core artists as including Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, and “new stars” Warren Zeiders, Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan.

The new brand will launch following off-air transmitter maintenance planned for Wednesday, July 17. The station will utilize Local Radio Networks’ “Superstar Country” 24/7 network with its lineup including Dave Delort in mornings, Cha Cha Chavez in middays, Catfish Hunter afternoons, and Ritch Cassiday evenings. KQNK will carry Kansas City Royals baseball and Norton High School sports, while the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas State University will remain on KQNK-FM.
