Following the move of Martha Quinn to a national Classic Hits midday show last month, iHeartMedia’s “103.7 80s+” KOSF San Francisco has announced the launch of “Morning Drive with Christie Live” hosted by Christie James.
James had served as co-host of the Martha Quinn Show and midday host on KOSF since 2016. She also co-hosted mornings on iHeart’s Adult R&B “98.1 Kiss-FM” KISQ and CHR “Wild 94.9” KYLD during her career and continues to host on iHeartMedia’s national PRIDE Radio. James will be joined Karena Velazquez as producer/co-host and traffic reporter. Velazquez has served as a morning show producer for KISQ and then KOSF since 2013 and was previously a traffic reporter for Total Traffic.
iHeartMedia San Francisco’s 80s + @ 103.7 (KOSF-FM), a Classic Hits station featuring 80’s hits plus more, announced today that Christie James will host the morning drive show “Morning Drive with Christie Live!,” effective immediately. “Morning Drive with Christie Live!” will broadcast weekdays from 6-10am.
James takes over mornings after co-hosting “The Martha Quinn Show” with original MTV VJ, Martha Quinn since 2016. She will be joined by co-host Karena Velazquez who will provide traffic reports and produce the daily show. James has over a decade of San Francisco morning radio experience including roles on “Renel in the Morning” (KISQ-FM) and the “JV Show” (KYLD-FM). In addition, she will also continue her role as a personality on iHeartMedia’s PRIDE Radio. Martha Quinn moves to middays, 10am – 3pm, on 103.7.
