KNDE Seeks Morning Co-Host & Midday Host

Candy 95 KNDE College Station BryanBryan Broadcasting CHR “Candy 95” KNDE College Station TX has two on-air openings.

Program Director Rob Mack is seeking a co-host to join Ted Hallowell in mornings following last month’s departure of Kayla McCaffrey as well as a midday host. The station has a history of graduating talent to major markets and Mack notes that they are in the process of installing video cameras in the studios to repurpose content to their digital properties.

Candy 95 in Bryan/College Station, TX currently had TWO full-time on-air openings.

-Mid-days to host a top, listener-engaged 10am to 3pm show
-Morning co-host to plug in across from Ted from 6am to 10am each weekday.

At Candy 95, we believe in hiring friendly, likeable, talented people who want to come work with us in Aggieland, live from our studios in College Station. You should like and enjoy current CHR music in 2023, be comfortable interacting with listeners on-air, online, and in person, and want to work for the #1 rated station in the market.

There will be plenty of video elements to go along with your on-air content. We are currently installing cameras in our studios, so we can repurpose our on-air content across our digital properties…so you should be comfortable in front of a camera, too. In addition to on-air, what other skills can you bring to the table? We’d love to have someone who knows some basics of video editing and/or creating graphics. Maybe creating effective, exciting imaging is more your thing.

Our owner works in our building and will know your name. Everyone here is passionate about the radio business, and for making our community a better place to live. B/CS is a rapidly growing area, home to Texas A&M University. Our signal covers 300,000+ and we are a short drive to Houston, Austin, D/FW, and San Antonio.

The salary? Likely better than similar-sized markets.
