KLUV Cuts Ties With Miles In The Morning

Audacy Classic Hits 98.7 KLUV Dallas has cut ties with morning hosts Jeff Miles and Rebekah Black.

In a social media video Miles told listeners, “Sometimes the combination of show and radio station don’t necessarily come together the way that you think it’s going to. Unfortunately that’s what happened with our show and KLUV and the decision was made and we’re not going to be able to continue with that.”

Miles joined KLUV in October 2018 after stints hosting mornings at KCYY San Antonio and WKLB Boston. He also served as interim morning host at WOMC Detroit and has held on-air roles at WPLJ New York, WWWQ Atlanta, and KHKS, KRBV, and KSCS Dallas. Black began her career at the then-CBS Radio Dallas cluster as a producer in 2006 and had been part of the morning show at KLUV since 2010 first with Jody Dean and then Miles.

No word yet on KLUV’s plans for the morning show moving forward.
