NRG Media News/Talk 1400 KLIN/99.3 K257GN Lincoln NE has announced the addition of Doug Fitzgerald as host of “Drive Time Nebraska” from 5-6pm weekdays.
Fitzgerald has been a regular fill-in host at KLIN since 2021. He has spent his entire radio career in the state of Nebraska dating back to the mid 80’s with a previous stint in the market at CHR “B104” KKNB from 1989 to 1993. He also hosts Syndication Networks’ “OneShot. OneLife.“.
Fitzgerald commented, “I am excited and honored for the opportunity to serve Lincoln and Nebraska on such an iconic station as KLIN and during a time slot where great hosts have broadcast over the years. My vision is to address the cultural issues that impact our city and state through the lens of the values that make Nebraska ‘The Good Life’. To me, ‘Drive Time Nebraska’ will be like taking a road trip with your family or good friends … having great conversations and fun, along with getting on each other’s nerves now and then. In the end, you still make it home together.”
“Doug has been a friend of KLIN for years,” said Ami Graham, General Manager for NRG Media Lincoln (Broadcast House Media). “During your drive home, Doug will tackle the issues that matter to our community through commentary, guests, and listener engagement. We are thrilled to have him on our airwaves every weekday.”
Fitzgerald succeeds Dan Parsons, who exited last month after just ten months.
