Lotus Communications has relaunched Rock “105.1 The Blaze” KKBZ Auberry/Fresno CA as “Rock 105.1“.
Now positioning as “The Valley’s Best Rock”, the change comes with the rise of KKBZ morning host Ryan ‘Rash’ Oldfield to Assistant Director of Programming for the Lotus Fresno cluster. The station will continue to feature Bec in afternoons and Zolo at night.
KKBZ registered a 2.8 share in the March 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings. It competes against One Putt Broadcasting’s Classic Rock “95.7 The Fox” KJFX and “New Rock 104.1” KFRR, neither of which subscribe to Nielsen.
