KJ Bland Joins WLOU For Middays

Bland most recently served as APD of Alpha Media Hip Hop “B96” WGZB-FM and Adult R&B “Magic 101.3” WMJM-FM in the Louisville market. The Louisville native began her radio career as the receptionist at WGZB-FM in 1993 and eventually rose to Program Director of the two stations. Shel ater served as APD/midday host at WJMZ-FM Greenville SC, MD/midday host at WMKS-FM Greensboro SC, spent seven years in middays at KRNB Dallas from 2010 to 2017, and midday host at KJHM Denver before her return back to Louisville in August 2021.

WLOU 104.7 JAMZ announced the return of Louisville Legend, KJ “In the Midday” Bland. KJ is returning home as the new Midday Host starting Monday, July 17, 2023.

KJ kicked off her three-decade career in Louisville in the 90’s, moving on to spend time in multiple top 50 markets including stops in Greenville, SC, Greensboro, NC, Denver, CO and top 5 market Dallas, TX. 
 
WLOU also announced the addition of syndicated personality, “DeDe in The Morning”. DeDe in the Morning can be heard nationwide in over 80 markets.
