KISS presenter DJ Ace has been awarded the Freedom of the City of London Award.
This historic honour, dating back to 1237, recognises individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the city and their fields.
Previously at BBC Radio and now on KISS, DJ Ace has been on-air for over two decades and co-founded Everything RNB in 2018 bringing together enthusiasts and artists nationwide.
On receiving the award, DJ Ace said: “It’s an incredible honour to be recognised with the Freedom of the City Award.
“London has been the heartbeat of my career, and to be acknowledged in this way is truly humbling.
“This award will push me to continue advocating for the music and artists I believe in.”
The Freedom of the City is often awarded to those excelling in areas like music, arts, and civic leadership. The official ceremony will take place at the Guildhall, a historic and iconic venue on Wednesday 23rd October 2024 where DJ Ace will join an elite group of past recipients, who have contributed significantly to London’s cultural fabric.
