Kimmy B Joins Papa Keith In Afternoons At 103.5 The Beat

Former “93.9 MIA” WMIA-FM Miami morning host Kimmy B is moving across the hall to join iHeartMedia Hip Hop “103.5 The Beat” WMIB Fort Lauderdale as afternoon co-host alongside ‘Papa Keith’ Walcott.

Kimmy first joined iHeart in February 2022 as co-host of the “DJ Laz Morning Show with Kimmy B” reuniting her with DJ Laz. Following Laz’s exit last April, she continued in mornings solo until WMIA-FM dropped its Hot AC format in November. She began her career as ‘Miss Kimmy’ at Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR in 2004 before moving to Cox CHR “Hits 97.3” to co-host DJ Laz’s morning show there in 2014 before moving to afternoons from 2016 until September 2021.

iHeartMedia Miami’s 103.5 The Beat (WMIB), announced the debut of the new “Papa Keith Live with Kimmy B” in afternoon drive, effective immediately.

“Papa Keith Live with Kimmy B” will broadcast weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m., featuring the latest hip-hop music along with live, local, and relevant conversations about the black entertainment industry.

Kimmy B has been a popular Miami drive-time personality for over twenty years. She is also a Podcast and TV Host; currently working with the Miami Dolphins as Host of Dolphins Today which airs on Bally Sports. Kimmy grew up in Boston and studied at the University of Miami.
