Kimberly Klacik Joins WBAL Lineup As Midday Host

Hearst News/Talk 1090/101.5 WBAL Baltimore has announced the addition of Republican strategist Kimberly Klacik as midday host.

Klacik, who lost two bids for Congress in 2020, will take the slot that had been held by Yuripzy Morgan until February. Morgan herself is planning a run for a different Congressional seat. Klacik has also been a regular contributor to afternoon host Torrey Snow’s show.

WBAL NewsRadio 1090/FM 101.5 announces the latest addition to its weekday lineup of live and local talk personalities.

Kimberly Klacik—a familiar voice to listeners through her regular weekly appearances on WBAL’s Torrey Snow Program—will now host Monday-Friday middays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Klacik, a Maryland native, grew up in the town of Accokeek located just outside of the District of Columbia. She attended Bowie State University, leaving early to enter the workforce. This decision influenced her in the establishment of the nonprofit Potential Me, an organization that assists young women entering the workforce.

“I am excited to join the team at WBAL! I hope to ask elected officials the questions Maryland residents have with just as much passion,” said Kimberly Klacik.

Through her work in the community, Kim’s passion turned to fighting corruption in local government and ran for congress in 2020. Although she was unsuccessful with her bid, Kim continues to shine a spotlight on Baltimore City leaders and vows to expose those in positions of power that leverage urban struggle for personal gain.

“We are excited to welcome Kim to our roster of talk personalities.” WBAL NewsRadio Program Director Scott Masteller said, “Kim offers fresh opinion and perspective every day on impactful local and national issues of interest to the people of Greater Baltimore.”
