Cumulus Media News/Talk 810 KGO San Francisco has made some lineup changes as afternoon host Chip Franklin departs the station.
Franklin, joined KGO as 12-3pm host in November 2014 before moving to 3-6pm in April 2016. Prior to joining KGO, Franklin hosted mornings at KOGO San Diego from 2007 to 2013 after stints at WBAL Baltimore and WMAL Washington in addition to performing as a stand-up comedian.
With Franklin’s departure, 6-9pm host John Rothmann has moved up to 4-7pm with KGO adding the Dave Ramsey Show at night from 7-10pm and cutting an hour off of the John Batchelor Show. Early afternoon host Pat Thurston’s show will add an hour to now run from 12-4pm.
