Another member of the 107.5 WGCI Chicago morning show has departed the iHeartMedia owned station.
‘Kendra G’ Gilliams, who has been part of the show since January 2015, has announced her departure from the station to relocate to Los Angeles. Her departure follows Kyle Santillian, who joined the station the same time as her, who left in February to move to Radio One’s “The Morning Hustle”. Prior to joining WGCI, Gilliams spent two years in Chicago co-hosting mornings at Crawford Urban “Power 92.3” WPWX and has also worked at WVEE Atlanta, WPHI Philadelphia and stations in Buffalo and Connecticut. She also has worked in television at WTXF Philadelphia.
She wrote, “It has been an honor and a privilege to be your morning show girl on WGCI for the last 8 years!!! After much prayer and deliberation I decided that it is time to focus on the next Chapter of my life which includes leaving the city I called home for the last 8 years.” She will also continue to host her “Singles Live” social media dating show.
Leon Rogers remains in mornings at WGCI.
