Audacy Variety Hits “93.1 Jack-FM” KCBS-FM Los Angeles will recognize Richard Blade receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by rebranding the station on Thursday, June 6 as “Blade-FM” for the day.
Blade currently hosts the 80s new wave centric “Flashback Lunch” weekdays at 12pm on the station. He is best known for his multiple stints at Alternative 106.7 KROQ including hosting mornings in the 1980s and has also spent time at 105.5 KNAC, 98.7 KYSR, and SiriusXM where he hosts afternoons on “1st Wave” (channel 33)
Blade’s star unveiling on Thursday will feature speeches from fellow KROQ alum Jimmy Kimmel and Richard Blade Fan Club Coordinator Oscar Alvarez, Jr, which will be streamed live at walkoffame.com at 11:00am Pacific. He will also make appearance on Thursday morning on KROQ’s Klein/Ally Show and News 1070/97.1 KNX.
