United Stations has announced that Kannon and Joe Breezy will take on additional roles at “Open House Party“.
Kannon will rise to Brand Manager for the show, while continuing to host the Saturday night edition. He has been with the show in 2005 first as host of the Sunday night edition and since February 2017 hosting both Saturday and Sunday editions. Kannon will also continue in his main duties as APD/afternoon host at Audacy’s “Star 94” WSTR Atlanta.
He will now hand the Sunday show to Breezy. Breezy joined Open House Party in July as Manager of Industry Relations and fill-in host. Breezy had been hosting the cancelled “Celebrity Top Ten Countdown” for United Stations. Breezy, who continues as Program Director of “Hot 106.7” WNFN Nashville, will also take on Music Director duties by finalizing the weekly adds, music rotations and music scheduling for Open House Party.
United Stations Media Networks, an independent leader in the creation and marketing of network radio programming, is excited to announce the expanded roles of the two most high-profile members of the team behind its long-running weekend program, Open House Party. Kannon has been promoted to Brand Manager for the time-honored program series while Joe Breezy has been elevated to the role of Music/Industry Relations Director for the franchise as well as permanent Host for the Sunday Edition of the program. United Stations has been overseeing the production, distribution and affiliate relations efforts for Open House Party since the start of 2013 following United Stations’ acquisition of the program, and the announcement of this new appointment comes from the company’s EVP/Programming, Andy Denemark.
In his enhanced role, Kannon will continue to host the original Saturday Night edition of the program and he will also work closely with the network in the marketing, formatting, imaging, social media and branding of Open House Party. Kannon will also handle the artist interviews for both weekend broadcasts as well as anchor the fast-growing “OHP Uncut” podcast and YouTube channel spun from those interview sessions. Joe Breezy will work closely with Kannon and handle Industry Relations for the show as well as Music Director duties by finalizing the weekly adds, music rotations and music scheduling.
Since 1987, Open House Party has been entertaining and engaging radio audiences on Saturday nights. Kannon, who is also Assistant Brand Manager at Audacy’s Star 94 in Atlanta, has been part of the OHP team since 2005. He has hosted both the Saturday and Sunday editions of the show and has helped to shape the current sound of the program including its features and mixes. Joe Breezy is an accomplished, popular on-air talent and Brand Manager who has spent 5 years Programming WNFN in Nashville. He was also the host of United Stations’ syndicated program “The Celebrity Top Ten Countdown” prior to his involvement with Open House Party.
