Natural Bridges Radio Community/Variety “K-Squid” 90.7 KSQD Santa Cruz CA began operating on 89.7 KSQT Prunedale/Salinas (formerly KNVM) and 89.5 K208GE Monterey on Saturday, June 17.
KSQD, which launched in February 2019 as the spiritual successor to the former 89.9 KUSP, purchased the two signals earlier this year from Educational Media Foundation for $375,000. The signals had been airing Radio Nueva Vida’s Spanish Christian network.
The station will be holding an official launch at a ribbon-cutting in Monterey’s Window On The Bay Park on Wednesday at 1pm.
