iHeartMedia Classic Rock “99.7 The Fox” WRFX leads Charlotte with a 6.6 to 6.8 gain. Beasley AC “K104.7” WKQC rises to second up 5.5 to 5.9. iHeartMedia Country “96.9 The Kat” WKKT slips 6.1 to 5.4 for third. Beasley Adult R&B “V101.9” WBAV drops 5.6 to 5.2, while sister Country 103.7 WSOC falls 5.9 to 5.1.
Radio One Hot AC “Mix 107.9” WLNK jumps 3.1 to 5.0 after its late April revamp for what ratings expert Chris Huff notes is its best showing since November 2018.
Public News/Talk 91.5 KOPB-FM remains on top in Portland up 8.4 to 8.9. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “106.7 The Eagle” KLTH continues to trend up 6.5 – 7.4 – 7.8, while sister AC “K103” KKCW slips 5.5 to 5.4. Alpha Media Country “98.7 The Bull” KUPL holds steady at a 5.1, while co-owned News/Talk 101.1 KXL drops 5.1 to 4.8.
Trending up in Portland are Audacy Hot AC “105.1 The Buzz” KRSK (3.6 – 3.8 – 4.6) and Salem’s Regional Mexican “93.1 El Rey” KRYP (2.7 – 3.6 – 4.2 setting a station record high). Trending downward is iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 107.5” KXJM (4.1 – 3.8 – 3.0).
Cox takes the top three spots in San Antonio. Classic Hits 101.1 KONO-FM leads down 8.2 to 7.7. Hot AC “Magic 105.3” KSMG surges to second up 5.0 to 7.1. Classic Rock “106.7 The Eagle” KTXK jumps up 5.7 to 6.5 for what Huff notes is a station record. iHeartMedia AC “Q101.9” KQXT is fourth steady at a 5.6. Three stations tie for fifth. Cox Country “Y100” KCYY (5.2 to 5.1), Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 92.9” KROM (5.3 to 5.1) and Public News/Talk 89.1 KSTX (4.9 to 5.1 for what Huff notes is a station record high).
Bonneville AC “Mix 96” KYMX surges up 9.9 to 9.9 to lead Sacramento. Audacy Classic Rock “Eagle 96.9” KSEG rises 8.0 to 8.6 to claim second place as iHeartMedia News/Talk 1530 KFBK/93.1 KFBK-FM drops 8.6 to 8.5. Bonneville Country 105.1 KNCI rises 6.2 to 6.4. iHeartMedia Soft AC “92.5 The Breeze” KBEB dips 6.3 to 6.1.
iHeartMedia Classic Hits 94.1 KODJ Salt Lake City rises 7.7 to 8.0 for what Huff notes is the largest share ever for the frequency. Bonneville AC 100.3 KSFI rises 6.8 to 7.2. Capitol Broadcasting AC “Now 97.9” KBZN holds at a 6.7 share. KSOP Inc. Country “Z104.3” KSOP-FM trends up to fourth 4.5 – 5.8 – 6.4. Bonneville Classic Rock “103.5 The Arrow” KRSP holds at a 6.3 share.
Trending downward in Salt Lake are Bonneville News/Talk 1160 KSL/102.7 KSL-FM (8.3 – 6.8 – 6.1), iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 570 KNRS/105.9 KNRS-FM (6.3 – 5.8 – 5.1) and Cumulus Country “K-Bull 93” KUBL (4.4 – 3.7 – 2.8).
Audacy Classic Hits “Sunny 105.9” WOCL remains on top in Orlando up 9.0 to 9.2. Cox Adult R&B “Star 94.5” WCFB rises 6.9 to 8.0 to regain second place in the market. iHeartMedia CHR “XL 106.7” WXXL slips 7.1 to 6.9 and is followed by co-owned AC “Magic 107.7” WMGF (7.0 to 6.5) and Spanish Tropical “Rumba 100.3” WRUM (6.1 to 6.4).
Trending up in Orlando are Cox Spanish CHR “Exitos 96.5” WOEX (3.1 – 3.6 – 3.9), iHeartMedia Rock 101.1 WJRR (2.4 – 2.8 – 3.5) and Spanish News/Talk “Accion 97.9” 810 WRSO (1.0 – 1.3 – 1.8).
Beasley Classic Hits 96.3 KKLZ leads Las Vegas up 7.1 to 7.3. Christian AC 90.5 KSOS holds in second 6.8 to 6.7. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 94.1” KMXB stays steady at a 6.0 share to tie with iHeartMedia AC “Sunny 106.5” KSNE (6.1 to 6.0). Lotus Regional Mexican “La Buena 101.9” KWID is fifth 5.0 to 4.9.
Trending upwards in Las Vegas are Audacy CHR 98.5 KLUC (2.4 – 2.8 – 3.9) and Classic Hip Hop “Q100.5” KXQQ (3.1 – 3.7 – 3.9). iHeartMedia Classic Rock “93.1 The Mountain” KYMT jumps up 2.3 to 3.5.
iHeartMedia Rock 102.5 WDVE Pittsburgh jumps up 9.9 to 12.0 to tie the all-time station high set in December 2020. iHeart Classic Hits “94.5 3WS” WWSW drops 10.5 to 9.8. Steel City Media Variety Hits “96.9 Bob-FM” WRRK dips 8.2 to 8.0. Audacy Sports “93.7 The Fan” KDKA-FM drops 6.9 to 6.5, while Country “Y108” WDSY moves up 4.3 to 5.1.
iHeartMedia News/Talk 700 WLW Cincinnati rises 11.1 to 12.5. Cumulus Classic Hits 103.5 WGRR is up 10.5 to 11.1. Hubbard Country “B105” WUBE places well behind in third 5.5 to 6.0. Hubbard CHR “Q102” WKRQ falls to fourth 6.6 to 5.2. Cumulus Classic Rock “92.5 The Fox” WOFX moves up 5.0 to 5.1, while sister AC “Warm 98.5” WRRM rebounds 3.6 to 5.1.
Public News/Talk 91.7 WVXU surges up 2.9 – 3.7 – 4.2.
iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Majic 105.7” WMJI drops 10.2 to 10.1 but regains the Cleveland market lead from Audacy Classic Rock 98.5 WNCX, which falls 10.3 to 9.7. Radio One Adult R&B 93.1 WZAK rises 7.1 to 7.9 to move ahead of iHeartMedia News/Talk 1100 WTAM (8.1 to 7.8). iHeartMedia Country 99.5 WGAR jumps up 6.7 to 7.6 and was immediately followed by two more big gainers as Audacy AC “Star 102” WDOK goes 6.9 to 7.5 and iHeartMedia Variety Hits “106.5 The Lake” WHLK jumps 6.5 to 7.5.
Cumulus Classic Rock “101 The Fox” KCFX trends up 7.4 – 8.2 – 9.4 to move on top of Kansas City. Cumulus Classic Hits 94.9 KCMO-FM falls to second but is up 9.1 to 9.3. Public News/Talk 89.3 KCUR (6.1 to 5.6) and Audacy News/Talk 98.1 KMBZ-FM (5.8 to 5.6) tie for third. Cumulus Hip Hop/R&B 107.3 KMJK rises to fifth 4.6 to 5.2.
iHeartMedia Country 92.3 WCOL remains on top of Columbus 8.8 to 9.3. Saga Classic Rock “QFM 96” WLVQ rises 6.3 to 7.3 to tie Public News/Talk 91.1 WOSU (6.9 to 7.3). iHeartMedia CHR 97.9 WNCI is fourth down 7.1 to 6.8, and iHeart News/Talk 610 WTVN slips down 6.8 to 6.3.
