Former “Hits 95.7” KDHT Denver APD/afternoon host Jeffrey ‘JR’ Ramsey has returned home to Portland ME to join Townsquare Media CHR “Q97.9” WJBQ in afternoons.
Ramsey began his career at WJBQ where he would rise to evening host before moving to Midwest Communications CHR “Hot 106.7” WNFN Nashville in 2016 starting in nights before moving to afternoons in May 2020. He would join KDHT in November 2021 until exiting in iHeart’s August 2024 cuts.
JR fills the afternoon vacancy created by Jadd Naamani’s exit last summer.
