Cumulus Media has hired Josh Wolff as Program Director of AC “Warm 98.5” WRRM Cincinnati.
Wolff fills the position that had been held by Brian Demay until his death from Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma in early January.
Wolff most recently served as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Allentown PA and Program Director of CHR “B104” WAEB-FM until being laid off last October. He previous served as APD and Marketing Director for the company’s Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT and AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ Phoenix from 2015 to 2019 and has also served as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Salisbury MD and APD/Digital PD of Hot AC “Alice 95.5” KTOZ and AC 105.9 KGBX Springfield MO during his tenure with the company. He came to Pennsylvania in July 2019 as PD of WAEB-FM and Rock 95.1 WZZO and rose to VP/Programming for Harrisburg and Lancaster in May 2020.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed Josh Wolff as Program Director for Cumulus Cincinnati’s Heritage AC radio station, Warm 98.5/WRRM-FM, effective April 24, 2023.
Wolff was previously Program Director for CHR station WAEB-FM in Allentown, PA. He was also Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeart Media in Allentown, PA, and was a Multi-Market On-Air Personality for iHeart Media stations in markets including Cincinnati and Cleveland, OH, Detroit, MI, Portland, OR, and Phoenix, AZ. Prior to that, Wolf was Assistant Program Director, for iHeart Media Phoenix stations KESZ-FM (AC) and KYOT-FM (Adult Hits). He also served as Senior Vice President of Programming/Operations Manager for iHeart Media-Salisbury-Ocean City, MD, where he was Program Director for WQHQ-FM (AC) and WWFG-FM (Country). Wolff holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Syracuse University.
